Every recording sealed on Everlasting produces a SHA-256 fingerprint printed on its Legacy Certificate. Paste that fingerprint below to independently confirm the seal and its UTC timestamp — no account, no login, no proprietary software required.

How this verification works

  1. 1. When a recording is sealed, Everlasting computes its SHA-256 hash — a 64-character fingerprint unique to that exact file.
  2. 2. The fingerprint and the server-issued UTC timestamp are written to the Legacy Certificate and to a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit log.
  3. 3. Anyone — a beneficiary, an attorney, a probate clerk — can paste that fingerprint here and confirm the seal without needing an account or Everlasting-specific software.
